First off, I’ve been doing some, uh, “research” (aka browsing online when I should be working), and it seems like these Bottega Veneta scarves are *everywhere*. Vestiaire Collective? eBay? Saks Fifth Avenue (in *Korean* apparently??). It’s a scarf-palooza! They got cashmere, silk, wool…you name it, they probably got a scarf made of it.
And, like, Bottega Veneta is *fancy*, right? We’re not talking about your grandma’s knitted Christmas scarf (no offense, Grandma!). We’re talkin’ Italian leather trimmed shearling scarves that probably cost more than my rent. *Sigh*.
Now, about the tax-free thing… This is where it gets a little fuzzy for me. Is it like, if you buy it in the airport duty-free shop? Or maybe if you’re shipping it internationally? Honestly, I’m not entirely sure. I’d *assume* it depends on where you’re buying it from and what the local tax laws are, y’know? Like, duh. But maybe not. Taxes are stupid anyway.
I saw somethin’ about IFCHIC offering free shipping on orders over $50. Which is cool, but that doesn’t necessarily mean tax-free. Although, hey, free shipping is basically like saving money, right? So, kind of like tax-free-adjacent? I’m gonna go with it.
