Maybe they’re trying to tap into that whole “quiet luxury” thing? You know, understated elegance, quality over flash… it kinda fits with a good Swiss movement, which is all about the inside workings and not necessarily screaming “LOOK AT ME!” from the rooftops. I guess the big question is, are they gonna use, like, a really top-tier movement (like something that Rolex or Omega would use) or just a decent, reliable ETA movement? The difference is HUGE. And will it be something crazy like a Spring Drive? (Nah, that’s Grand Seiko’s baby). The price tag is probably gonna be crazy either way, knowing CELINE, lol.
