See, I stumbled on this thing about “Fendi vanity mirror selection from top sellers” which, okay, *mirror* is in there, right? So I thought I was onto something. But then it just leads to… well, you guessed it, *more* mirrors. Like, I get it, Fendi makes nice stuff, but I’m trying to find a freakin’ wallet, not redecorate my bathroom!
And then there’s this “Fendi F Logo Mirror Calf Wallet On A Chain, Silver”. OKAY. We’re getting somewhere. On a chain? Silver? Sounds kinda cool. But then it’s followed by this weird “Wallet; Shop By Brand; Login Basket / EGP 0.00. No products in the basket.” Like, what even IS that?! Is the EGP Egyptian pounds? Why are we suddenly talking about empty shopping baskets AND Egyptian currency? My brain hurts.
I even ended up on Reddit, which, let’s be real, can be a total black hole. They were talking about “FENDI wallets & cardholders on FARFETCH.” Fair enough, FARFETCH usually has good stuff. But then it’s all “Baguette wallet-on-chain, bi-fold wallets, & Fendigraphy pouches.” All gorgeous, I’m sure, but still not exactly honing in on this elusive “Mirror Image” thing I’m after.
Honestly, it’s starting to feel like the “Mirror Image” part is more of a *concept* than an actual product name. Maybe it’s just a specific design with a mirrored surface? Or maybe I’m just completely making this up in my head. (Don’t judge, we’ve all been there.)
And the thing with these high-end brands is, they love to blend things! A wallet can be a WOC (wallet on chain), it can be a clutch, it can be a crossbody, it can be a teeny tiny bag! It’s all very confusing. I’m starting to think it’s one of those wallet-on-chain things. They can be very deceiving if you’re only looking for a wallet.
