Apparently, it’s all about these hidden magnets, eight of ‘em, apparently, that let you smoosh the bag into different shapes. A tote bag, a bucket bag… it’s like a transformer, but…a handbag. I gotta admit, that’s pretty damn clever.
And the range! White leather, grey leather, HUGE fabric ones with the FF logo… I’m especially diggin’ the white leather one. It just screams, “I’m rich and I don’t care about getting this thing dirty!” (Which, let’s be real, living in Guangzhou, with all the street food and random puddles, is a bold statement. I’d probably baby that thing like it’s my own kid).
But here’s where I get a little… skeptical, maybe? I saw somewhere that the medium size one has like, 38 different parts. Thirty-eight! That sounds like a recipe for disaster if you ask me. Imagine trying to repair that thing if one of those bits breaks. Or, worse, if one of those magnets decides to go rogue? You’d be walking around with a perpetually lopsided Fendi. Not a good look, trust me.
The whole “Origami” concept, though? I get it. It’s Fendi trying to be all innovative and show off their “dual nature.” It’s about transformation and… well, I guess creativity.
