First off, I keep seeing these Chloe shoes everywhere. Netshoes is pushing them, GOAT’s got them, FARFETCH is flaunting them… even Shoearena in KSA (Saudi Arabia, for those not in the know) is getting in on the Chloe action. It’s a Chloe-palooza! You know?
And honestly? Some of ’em are kinda cute. I saw something about the “Woody Flat Mule” somewhere. Sounds comfy, right? And then there’s the “Blake” sneaker on GOAT. The color is nice. But… $690 for some sneakers? Ouch! My wallet just cried a little.
Then FARFETCH is all like, “Shop Chloe Shoes & discover 100s of new season pieces!” Like I have hundreds of dollars just lying around to blow on shoes. Don’t get me wrong, the express shipping is tempting, but still…
Honestly, what I’m really wondering is if it’s just the name. You know? “Chloe.” It sounds fancy and French. Like Gaby Aghion (who apparently started it all back in the 50s) was some kinda fashion revolutionary. Which, fair enough, maybe she was. But does that justify the price tag on, say, the “Kick Mesh and Leather Low-Top Sneakers”? I mean, those look…fine. Kinda generic, tbh. Like, I could probably find something similar at a way cheaper price point.
And “top grade”? What does *that* even mean? Is it like, the *best* Chloe shoes? Or just… Chloe shoes that are trying to be extra fancy? The whole thing feels a little… hmmm… I don’t know, maybe a bit overhyped.
