I mean, look at the stuff out there. You can download the Givenchy logo as a PNG, a vector, an SVG… it’s plastered all over the freakin’ internet! You can slap it on your… whatever. T-shirts, I guess? (Ugh, Givenchy shirts *for men*, apparently. Shudder.) But is that *really* Givenchy? Or is it just… branding?
And don’t even get me started on the free shipping and free returns stuff. It’s like, okay, Nordstrom, I get it. You wanna lure me in. But what about the *actual clothes*? What if I just, like, wanted a ridiculously well-made dress that screams “expensive” without shouting GIVENCHY in your face? Is that too much to ask? I think not.
Seriously, I’m kinda over the whole logo thing. It’s like, we get it, you can afford it. Good for you. But sometimes, you just wanna be understated, ya know? Like, that subtle “I’m wearing a piece of art” kinda vibe. A whisper, not a shout. And I bet Givenchy *could* do that, if they tried. Or… maybe they already do? I dunno. I haven’t really *looked* for it, to be honest. I just kinda got sidetracked by all the shiny logos.
Plus, think about it. If you take away the logo, you’re left with… the craftsmanship, the fabric, the silhouette. Like, the *real* art. Maybe then people would actually appreciate the *design* instead of just bragging about the label.
Okay, so maybe I’m being a little bit dramatic. But I just think it’s a cool idea. Logo-free Givenchy. It’s, like, the ultimate flex. “Yeah, I’m wearing Givenchy. You can’t see it. But *I* know.”
