Phong?

The insert in the noob is a much better font. I am having difficulty sourcing an insert and may have to buy a complete watch to part out. https://puretime03.com/sea-dweller .

First off, *replica-watch.info* – it’s basically THE spot for rep watch nerds. Like, seriously, these guys know their stuff. We’re talking about folks who can tell the difference between a *real* 3135 movement and a super clone just by the tiniest tell. It’s kinda intimidating, tbh. But super helpful if you’re trying to avoid getting ripped off.

Now, the Rolex 116600 Sea-Dweller 4000… oh man, that’s a classic. It’s the one with the ceramic bezel and NO cyclops. Which, like, aesthetically, I think is way cooler than the Submariner. But hey, that’s just me. Seems like this person got one with a 2826 movement. I’m not even sure what that is. I’m thinking the person is trying to find someone who can swap out the 2826 movement with a 3135 movement on their replica watch, plus a new dial and hands.

You see this Noob factory mentioned a lot with the SD4000. Apparently, the Noob v7 Submariner is like, a benchmark for quality, and people compare the Sea-Dweller reps to it. I saw someone mentioned the Noob insert is better. I’m not sure what insert they are talking about. I think they are talking about the bezel insert.

And speaking of Noob, that SA3135 movement… that’s a clone movement, right? The forums are full of discussions about whether it’s worth the upgrade, if it’s reliable, if you’re better off sticking with a more common movement like the Asian 2824. You know, the usual obsessive rep watch stuff. I’d probably just stick with the 2826 movement. Why upgrade?

Also, the question about “Phong?” That’s… interesting. Phong is usually associated with high-end builds, like, frankenwatches (where you mix gen and rep parts). Maybe they’re considering going *all* out on this 116600 build. Or maybe they just saw a Phong part they wanted to incorporate? Who knows.

So, back to the forum itself. *replica-watch.info* is where you’ll find all this info. Just be warned, it can be a lot. Search functions are your friend. And don’t be afraid to ask questions, even if they seem dumb. Just be polite, and for the love of god, read the stickies before you post! They get *really* annoyed if you ask a question that’s already been answered a million times.

Personally, I think it’s all kinda crazy, but hey, some people are really into it. I just like the way the watches look. And if you are a beginner, don’t be afraid to ask questions.
