But anyway, *Bleu de Chanel*. Man, that stuff is CLASSIC. I mean, you see it everywhere, right? The notes, according to the descriptions, are all sophisticated and stuff – grapefruit, lemon, mint… Pink Pepper? Fancy! It’s supposed to be “woody aromatic,” which, I guess, is code for “smells good but not too overpowering.” You know, the kind of scent a guy can wear to, like, a meeting *or* a date. Versatile, innit?
Jacques Polge, the perfumer, sounds like he knew what he was doing. Launched in 2010, still kicking around, still popular. That says something, right? It’s not just some flash-in-the-pan fragrance.
And the different versions! Parfum, Eau de Toilette… I think I even saw something about a body spray somewhere in those snippets. The Parfum version, it says, is “intense and deep.” Sounds a bit much for, like, everyday wear, maybe? More of a special occasion thing, I reckon.
Honestly, though, about that Guangzhou TaiKoo Hui store being closed… that’s kinda worrying, isn’t it? Hope it’s just a temporary thing, not a sign of… I dunno, economic doom or something. I mean, Chanel pulling out of Guangzhou would be kinda… iconic, in a bad way.
