And honestly, who even *needs* a Gucci scarf? Like, I saw Kirsty’s blog (Gucci SHKrves for Women – spelling mistake there, Kirsty, lol!), and she’s all about Chanel, which, fair play, is arguably a bit more… understated? (Well, as understated as Chanel *can* be, anyway).
But then I was browsing and stumbled across, like, actual Gucci scarves for men and women. The women’s ones are all “equestrian prints” and “floral patterns” which… okay, cool. But the *men’s* ones? I didn’t even know Gucci did men’s scarves! Suddenly I’m wondering if my boyfriend would look good in one. Probably not, he’d just spill beer on it.
Thinking about it, I saw someone on WordPress (random comment on “GUCCI Accessories for Women” – their blog must be good if they’re getting Gucci accessory comments!) saying they were new to WordPress and learning the ropes. Bless ’em. It’s a pain in the arse at first, honestly. Takes forever to figure out how to make your blog not look totally naff.
Anyway, back to the scarves. I guess the point I’m trying to make, in a roundabout way, is that buying a fake “Original Quality GUCCI Scarf” is kinda like pretending you’ve mastered WordPress when you haven’t even figured out how to add a picture yet. It’s just… a bit embarrassing?
