I was browsing the other day, totally sucked in by the internet abyss as usual (thanks, algorithms!), and I started noticing all these different purse options. You got your Polène, with their fancy “cut stone building” and whatnot. Sounds posh, right? Probably costs more than my rent, tbh. But, they’ve got jewelry too, apparently! Who knew? I always thought Polène was just, like, *the* bag brand.
Then there’s American Darling. Sounds kinda…country? But the description mentions Coach? So, is it country-chic? Or just a mishmash of everything? This is where I get confused, you know? Like, what *is* their vibe? They’re throwing out buzzwords like “designer” and “classic” but, like, what does that even *mean* anymore? Everything is “designer” now.
And then the sales… OMG the sales. Tory Burch throwing around “limited quantities.” They always say that! Is it actually limited? Probably not. It’s a marketing ploy, and honestly, it usually works on me. “Wear-now handbags, now on sale!” Okay, Tory, you got me. My wallet is crying already.
But then, hold up… Bottega Veneta? *Intrecciato leather*? Now we’re talking. That stuff is seriously gorgeous. And “complimentary express shipping and gift wrapping?” You’re spoiling me, Bottega! (Even though I probably can’t actually afford it. A girl can dream, right?)
And, like, Cheval Firenze? Never heard of ’em. “Eleganza e glamour.” Sounds Italian. Fancy. Probably even *more* expensive than Bottega. They’re “dedicated to the natural femininity.” What does that even *mean* in a bag? Does it mean it holds more tampons or something? I’m so confused.
